CASEY + CAITLIN // married

It was the most gorgeous summer day for Casey and Caitlin's wedding in Chicago!

It was an exceptionally special wedding for me, because I have been with these two since the MOMENT they got engaged! While Casey was planning his proposal to Caitlin last year, her mom Peg reached out to me and asked if I would secretly photograph the moment. It took all of 1-second for me to say YES!

So Casey and I started scheming - the location was set, the time was chosen and the mark was memorized. It was supposed to be a nice, crisp November day, but on the night Casey was going to propose a full-on blizzard hit Chicago! We texted back and forth about the outdoor location (by the North Pond in Lincoln Park) and eventually decided to just go for it....snow and ice couldn't stop him!

Fast-forward a few months and we were taking their engagement photos in January, at Olive Park. Caitlin's bright red coat was PERFECT for the scene, but it was about time that these two had a warm sunny day in their memory book :)

Their wedding was incredible and I was smiling from ear-to-ear the whole day. Getting to know both of them and their amazing families has been the best part of my job and I'm so excited to see what their future holds!
