INDIANAPOLIS // travel photography

Just a quick 4-hour drive from Nashville and I found myself in Indianapolis, IN working on a series of images for Visit Indy, Indianapolis' tourism hub! I love their team and we've worked together to create some great imagery over the past few years!

This time we stayed at Le Meridien, a boutique hotel in the heart of the city and the experience was incredible! The space is beautiful, with a welcoming Mid-century style lobby, large comfortable rooms and a highly-rated restaurant in the building. As a bonus, they are a dog-friendly hotel so our little pup Toby got to come along on vacation!

On our second night we wandered down to the lobby for happy hour at Spoke and Steele. We'd heard amazing things about it (especially their charcuterie boards and craft cocktails) and it didn't disappoint! They were even SO dog-friendly that they brought a little bed over for Toby to sleep in under the bar. It was a quiet night, but he sure charmed the other customers and the entire staff! He even got a little french-fry treat from the kitchen. It was adorable!

Aside from the hotel, I shot all over the city and hit up some of my favorite spots in town for coffee, food and drinks. I even discovered two new favorites: the brand new Garden Table on Mass Ave and the General American Donut Company. Both interiors are an absolute dream and the food at each is incredible! I basically had to be dragged out of them while still shooting :)

It was such a great trip and I feel so lucky to work with amazing clients like Visit Indy! Here are a few more highlights from my trip... Milktooth and Coat Check Coffee.
