Once upon a time, an Indiana girl met a Frenchman. And the rest was history!
Maryam and Salman are quite the international pair and their wedding reflected so many beautiful details of their lives together. From the wedding tea they brought all the way from France, to Maryam's jewelry (from a family collection) and the location itself (Maryam's childhood home) every bit of the day was personal, down-to-earth and very laid back. Oh, but did I mention it was also GORGEOUS and this couple is BEAUTIFUL!?! Yeah. That too.
After the ceremony in Crown Point, Indiana, the couple escaped to Chicago and I met them for a few portraits. We made the most of the beautiful late-summer light and captured some of my all-time favorite wedding photos. These have all that moody, romantic magic, you guys! Oh, and we had to stop for a few quintessential Indiana-cornfield photos too, of course :)
